A theodicy is a vindication or justification of God's goodness amidst and evil world. And in this passage Paul gives the Thessalonians explains why they are experiencing suffering due to persecution, that God can use temporary pain for a greater good in their lives and the lives of others. Paul does this by introducing God's judgment. In this teaching, we will explore the nature of God's judgment and what it would look like if God did not judge.

In this teaching, we will be talking about practical steps we can take to develop a vibrant spiritual community. More specifically, Paul gives each individual in God's spiritual community instructions for how to play their part in raising the level of spirituality in their group.

This week, we will be considering what it means to be a spiritual leader. Leadership, from a biblical perspective is very different from the leadership we see in our world. It is not about asserting yourself or trying to dominate and gain control over people. It is about getting underneath people and serving. Join us as we look at what it means to be a spiritual leader.
